Our Story

Over a century ago, DC360 Church (formerly Bethel Tabernacle) was founded in the heart of Washington, DC on the heels of a mighty revival. Throughout the years, this congregation has endured tremendous challenges and hardships, but through it all, we learned to trust in the faithfulness of God and depend upon His Word.
Decades have passed and we continue to forge a message of God's truth and righteousness. Today, we trust that God will encircle DC360 Church with His love and protection as we step into the unknown with the all knowing God, trusting that He will help us fulfill the mission of healing hurts, meeting needs, and building dreams of people living inside and outside the Capital Beltway and beyond.
Our Name - DC360 ChurchWe are DC360 Church because as Christians we are Disciples of Christ (DC) and God calls us to make disciples in our local community of Washington, DC, and throughout the world (360).
Why We Exist?
We are disciples of Christ who are passionate about living out the Great Commission as we share God’s love in our community, city, and around the world. We exist to be God’s house for all people, connecting everyone to God’s hope, healing, and purpose.

The “Divine Servant” statue at DC360 Church!
On May 2, 2025, after years of dreaming, hoping, and praying, Pastors Fitz and Sophia Carter had the honor of watching the delivery and installation of the “Divine Servant” statue at DC360 Church. It was a time of awe and excitement with thanks in great part to Max and Sherry of Max Greiner Art (@maxgreinerart), who designed this wonderful piece of art.
This iconic image of Jesus Christ, the greatest servant-leader of ALL times, washing the feet of Peter is the first of its kind in our nation’s capital, the land of monuments. We invite you to come sit on one of our benches next to this amazing and anointed work of art for a time of prayerful reflection.
The Divine Statue artist, Max Greiner says, “Based on ancient scripture, this poignant life-size (1,200 lb.) bronze statue portrays the extravagant love of Jesus Christ. The Deity is shown humbly washing the feet of His creation, Disciple Simon Peter, on the night before the crucifixion (John 13).”
The thought-provoking composition was conceived in 1986 by internationally collected, Christian artist, architect and evangelist, Max Greiner, Jr. (73) of Kerrville, TX(www.maxgreinerart.com). The sculpture was cast by one of the largest art foundries in the world, Eagle Bronze, Inc. (www.eaglebronze.com). The famous art foundry is owned by Christians, Monte and Beverly Paddleford. Eagle monuments are all over the world, including inside the US Capitol Rotunda.
Greiner’s #62 “Divine Servant”® bronze (www.maxgreinerart.com) took almost a year to cast at the foundry. The statue traveled almost 2,000 miles in the back of the Paddleford pickup truck from Lander, WY, to Washington DC.
